What the app stores

To recreate a work item after it is deleted, the app keeps a copy of each work item when it is created or changed. A copy holds the item's key, space, work type, summary, description, priority, labels, components, versions, due date, assignee and reporter account IDs, status, security level, custom field values, links to other items, the names and sizes of attached files (not the files), and its comments with their authors' names.

The copies are written to Forge storage, which sits inside Atlassian's platform under your agreement with Atlassian. We do not operate servers that receive your data, we do not keep copies of your work items, and we cannot read your Forge storage.

Who can see it

Only Jira administrators can open the app's page. It lists deleted items only from spaces the viewer may browse, and it hides the summary of items that had a security level. A restore runs with the permissions of the person who presses Restore, and keeps the item's security level.

Personal data

The copies contain the account IDs and display names that are already in your Jira site (assignee, reporter, comment authors, uploaders), and whatever personal data your work items themselves contain. The app collects nothing beyond what is in Jira.

Analytics and tracking

The app sends no telemetry and calls no outside service.

Retention and deletion

A copy of a deleted item is kept for 90 days and then removed by a nightly job. A copy is removed as soon as its item is restored. Uninstalling the app deletes its Forge storage along with it. To remove stored copies without uninstalling, contact support and we will provide the steps.

Support correspondence

Emails you send us are kept for as long as needed to resolve the matter and for our records afterwards. Ask us to delete them and we will.

Changes

Material changes to this policy will be announced on the app's Marketplace listing before they take effect.
