Who we are

Clearwren builds apps for the Atlassian Marketplace. Contact: privacy@clearwren.com.

What the app processes

Clearwren for Confluence reads the content of pages on your Atlassian site in order to check them for accessibility problems. This processing happens inside Atlassian's Forge platform. Page content is held in memory for the duration of a check and is not transmitted to Clearwren or to any third party.

What the app stores

Results are written to Forge storage, which sits inside your own Atlassian tenant and is governed by your agreement with Atlassian. Stored data consists of page identifiers, page titles, scores, issue counts, issue positions, short quoted fragments of the content an issue relates to, and your app settings.

We do not operate servers that receive your content, we do not maintain copies of your pages, and we cannot read your Forge storage.

Personal data

The app does not collect personal data of your users. If a page you check contains personal data, that data stays where it already was — in Confluence. A short quoted fragment may be stored alongside a finding when the finding concerns that text, for example a link label or alt text.

Analytics and tracking

This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking scripts. The app sends no telemetry.

Retention and deletion

Uninstalling the app deletes its Forge storage along with it. To remove stored results without uninstalling, contact support and we will provide the steps.

Support correspondence

Emails you send us are kept for as long as needed to resolve the matter and for our records afterwards. Ask us to delete them and we will.

Changes

Material changes to this policy will be announced on the app's Marketplace listing before they take effect.
